Since its last repaint over 10 years ago the condition of the body has deteriorated. It now requires all 6 side doors replacing, one pair of end doors rebuilding, and two repairing and several areas of planking require replacement. Fortunately the roof was recovered 10 years ago and is in good condition. 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st August 2016. August 21, 2016.

A new NER style fence is being installed down the yard to separate the public from the siding. The fence around the Camping Coach is being upgraded as part of this project to bring it up to the same standard. The coach roofed hut at the bottom of the yard has had a plank screen erected between the hut and the boundary fence. 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st August 2016. August 21, 2016.

On Thursday we went over to Caths in the morning, and Alex enjoyed himself on her trampoline while I caught up on the NELLI meeting I'd missed. It didn't sound very interesting! Sunday was a lovely day, after a breakfast argument. We took Dad's mower (with Alex steering) in to the forest to get a load of wood chippings for the garden. We then spread them round everywhere we could reach, so my strawberry bedsa re finally mulched! After lunch we s...
