Home is where the hotdish is. Ramblings of a Midwest Girl Who's Transplanted Herself in the South. Thursday, June 25, 2015. Since my birthday was on a Friday this year, some of the ladies took me out for Mexican to celebrate my birthday. I was sung to, had to wear a ridiculous sombrero and ate strawberry cake from Edgars.yummy. Overall it was a super great birthday and I'm well positioned for enjoying the next year. WOOT! Home is where the hotdish is. Ramblings of a Midwest Girl Who's Transplanted Herself in the South. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Winter Weather.Birmingham Style. Granted I'm from Iowa so snow isn't that novel to me. We were all instructed to stay home yesterday, UAB was closed and so I complied. I didn't really want to get stranded like last year (Thanks again Kajal and Tom), especially since my hosts from last year have moved to Boston. I really would have had to stay on my office floor. Anne on Tap: December 2014
http://awesomeannepsu.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 25, 2014. I was so excited for Christmas this year! We had a nice quiet Christmas in Chicago. It wasn't exactly what I had envisioned, because I hurt my back two days before and was pretty much stuck in bed or on the couch all day. But it was quiet and cozy and Adam certainly enjoyed a full day off with both of us there and lots of attention. Saturday, December 20, 2014. My poor, sweet, abandoned blog! To tide you over, here are a few pics of Adam and things he is loving lately:. My pa...

http://awesomeannepsu.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2014. On a lighter note. our actual Thanksgiving day was pretty low key. I made a turkey and dinner like usual, we watched the Macy's parade (Adam liked the balloon/floats), and we watched some great football games. We hung out, relaxed, and ate (and did a little online shopping) ;). He did great, again, until we had to leave and he freaked out because he couldn't stay and play with all of the *new* toys. Helping" me prep the turkey. Boxes are so much fun! I freaking love coloring!
