Sunday, October 23, 2011. This was the first year we actually threw a big party for Grayson the weekend after his actual birthday. He begged for a party at "gymnastics" I think because he had gone to a gymnastics party for a friend last year and had a blast. So we invited the whole class and a few other friends and, of course, the cousins. We had a crew of about 20 kids! The cousins and my Mom came a bit early and we opened some presents! Grayson did alright on the rope swing.just like a real pirate!

Friday, May 25, 2012. I'm so incredibly late posting Easter pictures, but have just been so busy. So here's a recap in a nutshell. Easter Egg hunt at Mimi and Poppaw's house. I think the Easter Bunny is going to need to step up his game next year. It didn't take the boys 5 minutes to find those eggs this year! Saturday, December 31, 2011. New Year's Eve Hike. We were blessed with some unusually warm weather on New Year's Eve so we drove just down the road to the Cascade. They both made the hike in completely unassisted! The fun rocks to climb on and rushing waters in the creed that runs alongside certainly helped! Rich and Jolene with the boys. Friday, May 25, 2012. Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. We headed to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens for a long weekend with my Mom. The boys were really good on the trip and we all had a great time! Tuesday, February 08, 2011. Well we knew the day would come. With two boys I knew our day was coming for an inaugural visit to the emergency room. That day arrived this past Saturday. Steve and I had decided to divide and conquer the errands. Luke and I were just returning from a Wal-Mart trip. I was letting Luke play in the van while I unloaded groceries.
