And Patrick had their bar steak ciabatta sandwich with some out of this world beer battered onion rings and very tasty chips (our version of fries). Although it was stressful getting ready to leave (partially due to tile issue [bathroom renovation], illness and not enough time) we managed to get to the airport in plenty of time. Sunday, 26 August 2007. Day Seven - Library and a "proper English curry". Jon got back around lunch time and had remembered passing a nice pub. Unfortunately, Jon is directionally challenged no matter what country he is in. We drove around for quite a bit trying to find this pub he had seen.finally pulled into one which turns out didn't serve lunch but recommended another pub up the road that did. We let Patrick pick first and he decided on the Royal Marine Museum. So we drove down to Portsmouth. We headed over to Gunwarf Quays. Much to Patrick's horror - shopping? Calm down it was only for an English SIM card for one of our cell phones so if separated, Jon and I would be in touch. I still wasn't feeling well thanks to the cold so we found a pub.
