The Not-So-Innocent At Home: October 2009
http://kelsbrown.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
The Not-So-Innocent At Home. The thoughts and escapades of a (mildly) adventurous girl. Friday, October 23, 2009. The writer's block I have been suffering from for weeks has yet to lift and I am giving up. Malaysia will have to wait until after the fog has cleared. For now I will move on to to other less demanding topics. Until then, listen to the Black Eyed Peas song, "I Gotta Feeling" on repeat; the trip was a lot like that. Monday, October 12, 2009. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. I could go on and on about how great Oregon is but when it comes down to it, my heart belongs to California. So here I am. Already installed back in the Yosemite YSA Ward with a calling as Sunday Activities/Fireside Committee Co-Chair (is that the longest calling title ever? I missed my friends and ward more than I realized and I am so glad to be back. Here is what I am feeling about giving up on the Northwest:. Links to this post.

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. Tuesday, January 5, 2010. A blog of consequence. So I've been thinking lately that maybe my blog should have more direction. Maybe I should write about the books I read or my spiritual growth (or lack therof) or a specific hobby but I just can't decide. So, for now, here's a few things I've been thinking about. Lying in bed trying to fall asleep. Some Books I Want to Read in 2010:. In Defense of Food. The Count of Monte Cristo. A Tale of Two Cities.

The Not-So-Innocent At Home. The thoughts and escapades of a (mildly) adventurous girl. Thursday, August 27, 2009. My journey to Pittsburgh was long and trying. At times I thought I would never make it. But finally, after 35 hours, 5 planes, 6 airports, and 2 bus rides, I made it to Pittsburgh. Having either been bumped from oversold flights, or having them delayed for hours (sitting in an airplane on the tarmac with no air conditioning or leg room is no. Macey loves Atticus, Atticus loves kabobs. Prep i...

The Not-So-Innocent At Home. The thoughts and escapades of a (mildly) adventurous girl. Sunday, September 26, 2010. Speaking of Identity Crisis. Cut to 15 years later:. That's right, willingly participating in a relay race on track and field day! Yes, the students kicked the pants off the adults, but I can say I did run faster than the teachers. Score one for the classified staff! The Disillusioned Re-patriot (if this doesn't get me flagged on government databases nothing will). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. Sunday, June 27, 2010. February 22nd, HP Pavilion. Dashboard is down there. I promise. After the concert in Portland, I decided that I needed more Dashboard Confessional and finally talked Krystal into going with me to see them open for Bon Jovi in San Jose. Dashboard's set was great. Heavy with songs from their most recent album Alter the Ending. The Dashboard Fans were few and far between. I could hear a few of them yelling their support and Krystal and I a...

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. Sunday, August 23, 2009. It's definitely been a supreme summer. My trip to Europe was amazing, exhausting, unforgettable, expensive, and I can't believe it's all over. I will definitely be going back. . . someday. There were so many things I enjoyed, but I really love, love, loved Paris and London. Pompeii was fascinating and Switzerland was beautiful. This last week Mom and I met up with the Brauns in Disneyland! Mason plotting our next move. Links to this post.

The Not-So-Innocent At Home. The thoughts and escapades of a (mildly) adventurous girl. Friday, April 8, 2011. Perhaps because I'm 24 and without my own children, I can frequently be found boasting about my students at school. I can't help it: they are adorable.*. So at the risk of looking like the Applbys, always bragging about little Stevie, here are some pictures, notes, and quotes from some of the kids I work with. The musings of kindergartners:. Hey Peter, you like those rims? More than dogs.".
