Reflections from Northcott's VP of Public Relations, Patti Carey. Earth Rhythms Rocks 100 Blocks. Today is my first day in sunny Florida, after a 3-day road trip driving my mom down to her winter home from Toronto. It is also my day to post as part of the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 10 Blog Tour. How fabulous to be sitting outside in balmy weather to write this! Karen’s block was actually easiest for me to design as a quilt. Here is Chris’ block in Earth Rhythms. Here is my Earth Rhythms version.

Life and projects as they happen. Skip to primary content. Pets on Quilts – My “Firsts”. August 15, 2013. This is my first dog snoozing on my first quilt! I am linking this up to Lily Pad Quilts annual Pets on Quilts. Show in the caetgory “Dog on Quilt”. When our vet arrived to take Shep to the crematorium he brought along an ugly, scratchy orange blanket to wrap him in. I opted to have Shep wrapped up in my quilt instead. My first dog, first quilt, first real heartbreak losing this big old guy. But my h...

Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Time to Catch Up. Mr Bailey got a haircut. What a difference from the teddy bear looking pooch! He can see so much better and so much easier on us for grooming. He is busy, very busy and at nearly five months old already learning so much. How cute are these? My friend Karen of Log Cabin Quilter gifted these to me on her visit a few weeks ago. Her husband is so sweet too! Here's her quilt top. This matches my home! Love these flowers I quilted on Cyndi's. I've been a quiltmaker...

This has been printed onto muslin to label the back of the quilt. Cute right? I'm only sharing a glimpse of the following quilt for now as it belongs to Sue. She chose a new design to me called, "Autumn Leaves and Acorns." This is one of those designs I want on one of my own quilt tops! Thursday, February 12, 2015.

May I Be Your Quilter? As of January 2016 my business is closed. Limited quilting in my hollow; feel free to inquire. Thank you! I charge $0.02 to $0.03 psi for edge-to-edge work. Pricing varies on density and detail of quilting design. Obviously, the denser the quilting the more time/thread involved. My estimate does not include batting, thread charge or return shipping. My minimum quilt fee for edge to edge is $50.00. I do request a $50.00 deposit on all quilting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Passion ...

Quilt Hollow: December 2014
http://www.quilthollow.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 29, 2014. Thank you friends who sent me surprises! I received books, patterns, fabrics, Polish pottery and gifts from your hands. My birthday is just a few days before Christmas so these are from both celebrations. Cotton, wool, a crow and big primitive stitches! I love how she quilted the border too! Wool table mats with a special note of more to come! I was thinking of creating a space on my studio wall for these pretties! A hipster bag with polka-dots! Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
