Friday, December 31, 2010. Surgery- - A glimpse of the Journey. Thanks so much to all who helped us and continue to help us as we recover from my Spinal Fusion surgery that I underwent June 30th. So many, many people came to our rescue and there are just too many to count or mention or picture. Thursday, April 9, 2009. To this lovely little space. Of course, I get there and my new friend who runs the kilns tells me to use floral pins. Place them around each piece to hold the layers tight. Since I use cardboard and styrofoam, the pins will stick nicely. Of course. Here are some 'before' photos. It's really fascinating how much they change when you apply heat. Saturday, August 8, 2015. It's been a couple weeks now, but Laine turned 9 recently! Traditional cinnamon roll breakfast. Followed by opening presents (after church, since it was a Sunday). Thursday, November 20, 2014. We had our first "big" snow the other day - almost 2 weeks before Thanksgiving! Even though it wasn't more than a few inches, the kids enjoyed getting out and playing in it. Sledding down our tiny hill, jumping on the trampoline, and throwing snowballs at one another. The kids' school sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" this past week, so we all went together to watch the game and hang out. Laine and Mead enjoyed hanging out with their friends and teachers.

I went home to sleep, leaving dad and Nick at the shop to finish up (yes, I felt guilty.but when I realized that I my grouchiness over-rode my ability to bite my tongue I figured it made sense to just leave while I was ahead).
