Kindergarten, here we come! I've been to two rehearsal dinners this summer, and at both, the parents recalled how fast time went. One day they are born; the next they are off to kindergarten. Here's my farmer's market goods for this week. $19.50 total. All this would have been twice as much at the grocery store. I recently learned a tip about cutting boards. Yellow In Small Doses. I like yellow, in small doses. Over the weekend I took a can of yellow spray paint and got after these frames for the baby's room. One was white, one was brown. So now they are a matching yellow for these Runaway Bunny. Illustrations I ripped out of one of our multiple copies. And this little yellow foot stool is one of those life changing epiphanies. I found the recipe on the blog, " Breaking Bread Together. 4 cans (10 each) refrigerated biscuits. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. 1) Cut all biscuits into fourths. 2) Place 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon in a plastic bag. 3) Add biscuit pieces and shake to coat. 4) Arrange pieces in a well greased bundt pan. We didn't think it would even happen because it rained every hour until his party started. We had to clear out the carport and hang visqueen(sp) to block potential blowing wind and rain. The theme of the party was John Deere, of course. I decided to go casual this year with minimal effort towards food and decor.
