About Paul F. Ludwig III. Monday, July 26, 2010. Dad in North Carolina, Starts Treatments. Dad and Mom arrived last evening in Wilkesboro, NC and Dad began his "official" treatments today. He will be doing 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 2 weeks on, 1 week off, and then 2 weeks on. By mid-September his treatments should be "complete." He will have regular blood work done, and they are closely monitoring his liver since this is the area most affected by the cancer. Posted by Mark Ludwig. Wednesday, July 21, 2010.

About Paul F. Ludwig III. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. WMATA Responds to Overwhelming Support for Dad by "Blocking and Deleting". Well Monday was a good day. Many, many supporters of Dad's posted, emailed, called, and generally caused a busy day for WMATA. In true WMATA fashion (should we be surprised) they decided the best way to deal with us was to block us on Facebook, and then delete ALL of their posts and our comments with them. So AGAIN their tactic is to ignore and push aside. We are so very grateful!

Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Finally had a non-sausage dinner last night. I got a schweineschnitzel at a popular restuarant on the Maximillianstrasse. Decent, but I would have preferred sausage. I am currently sitting at the Goldener Lowe, a restaurant recommended to me by a local Jugen Freunde as the best in town. Michelin also seems to have granted it a bib gourmand.
