http://thebarnardfam.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. The picture of the group of kiddos is Dan's pre-school class. It's not really that great of a pic, but it was taken at a music festival that they performed in. They won first prize for the song that they did as cowboys and I loved seeing Dan up there.it was so cute to see his class perform. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Figuring it out along the way. 1 wedding and 2 babies. oh my! I flew home this past Friday and arrived back in Chicago this evening. I had two reasons for flying home this past weekend: Gogi and Sabrina's Wedding Reception and Dorie's baby shower. Gogi and Sabrina were married on July 4th in Orange County and unfortunately George and I were unable to attend the actual wedding. They had a separate reception on Saturday at the Rye Town Hilton. Congratulations Gogi and Sabrina! The beautiful center pieces.

Figuring it out along the way. Is Cambodia's second-largest city located in the heart of the Northwest. We took a bus here from Phnom Penh and only spent one night. There really isn't much to see, but it was nice to experience a different part of the country. The town is located along the Sangker River and starting at 5 pm every night the entire town comes out to exercise! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New York, NY, United States. http://thebarnardfam.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 13, 2012. We had a lovely Christmas and Christmas season this year. We all had lots of fun decorating the tree, making gingerbread houses, ornaments, cards and lots of Christmas cookies! One night we went with friends into Inverness to a local park. There, we saw reindeer and beautiful Christmas lights. Dan had fun with his freind Doug, and after a snowball fight on the walk back to the car we were all ready for a warm meal :). All the adults had a good laugh too. View my complete profile.

Figuring it out along the way. Since we returned to Hanoi today and I was able to fix the camera I took a couple more pictures of the street market:. The meat just sits out in the heat until bought. As does the already cut fish. We have just returned to Hanoi after spending a couple of days in Sapa. Sapa is located in the northwest and is very close to the Chinese border. It's a beautiful valley surrounded by rice terraces. This is the dog that guards the hotel! Today is devoted to seeing as much as poss...

Figuring it out along the way. We spent three nights camping in Etosha National Park. A few of us had trouble falling to sleep the first two nights because of the sound of lions roaring and hyenas laughing throughout the night! Every night Jackels would roam through the campsite, and one night two of them crashed into our tent fighting. We found out the next day they were fighting over a shoe they had stolen from the tent next to ours. We visited a Himba tribe. We stopped at a seal colony. At the game pa...
