Three Girls And A Guy. Monday, September 17, 2012. Applejack Festival 2012 - Arbor Day Farm. Our next stop was Arbor Day Farm. You had to pay to get into this! We went into the nursery/greenhouse and they had these little white pine trees growing. They also had some guys demonstrating how to get a hazelnut ready to plant. Girls in front of hundreds, maybe thousands white pines! This is how they put single seeds into the slots so they can grow. It is like a needle with vacuum suction. Its an American plum!

Three Girls And A Guy. Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Hunger Games Lund Style. Dad bought some bows and arrows so that we'd have something to do over Easter. Colleen and I joked it was the Hunger Games (good book if you haven't read it). Colleen always had good form - she definitely looked like a natural. I unfortunately did not get a bulls eye. This was my first time doing this besides in PE with Mr. Rippke and even then, they weren't real bows and arrows. Hoff had pretty good form too. Only a few mishaps :).

Three Girls And A Guy. Thursday, February 14, 2013. Cows have such funny personalities and hair - ha! We got to see a newly born baby and watched him take his first steps! Walking the hay bales with Papa to get a better look at all of his calves! Gracie helping Papa feed the cows some green hay! Evie got to collect the eggs for the day - 4 of them! We were late coming home to shut up Mom's chickens and found an owl in the coop murdering chickens! One of the victims - it killed a rooster and two hens.
