Giving Thanks to the Giver of All Good Things. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Time Does it Really Exist? Einstein argued that time does not really exist. As you wait for it, it is in the future, and the moment it arrives, it is already in the past. I have noticed that sometimes it goes by fast, and other times tortuously slow. Each day I leave work is another day closer to the celebrated and anticipated weekend. Each Sunday means the next day I have to go back to work on Monday and begin again. Time Does it Re...

Giving Thanks to the Giver of All Good Things. Saturday, December 18, 2010. That Thy Foot Slippeth Not. After slipping on some ice, shattering my ankle, and finding myself bed-bound for 6 weeks, I have been giving some thought to some related ideas. I have "slipped up" and "fallen" many times. Some times were even bad enough to leave more than a bruise, but rather a break. 4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. I have promises that the Lord ...

Giving Thanks to the Giver of All Good Things: Response To Who is God...

Giving Thanks to the Giver of All Good Things. Monday, November 5, 2012. Response To Who is God. The following is a discussion about my beliefs about God. You have picked up on one of the beautiful truths of the temple and have misunderstood it to mean something else. That's okay, though. Hath not one God created us?

Giving Thanks to the Giver of All Good Things. Monday, August 1, 2011. The Rest of the Story. While officiating in an endowment session, I noticed that a brother in the back row had an electronic device. I could see the bluish light shining on his face. I had just read in the training notebook about what to do if this happens. I knew that the brethren officiating could not see this because of the angle of their seats. What is so important that it couldn't wait until AFTER the Temple? It turned out to be ...

Giving Thanks to the Giver of All Good Things. Thursday, August 1, 2013. Why I Love Being LDS. I came across this posting and felt to share it here because it says EXACTLY how I feel, but more eloquently. Why I Love Being LDS Kelly Bingham January 29, 2007. Why did Jesus love us enough to suffer and die for us? Why did God create this earth and place us on it? Why did God create us? What happens to people who died that never heard of or had a chance to accept or reject the gospel of Jesus Christ?
