It's titled "Vince Cable in renaissance as Lib Dems embark on battle for soul of party" and is well worth a read. Vince Cable has had one of the toughest transitions to government, having tripped up over his comments about BSkyB. And News International, his possibly not voting for his own bill. Antho...

http://colinhallsblogspot.blogspot.com/2014/07/would-you-like-to-use-trams-in-sutton.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. Would you like to use trams in Sutton? Tell us what you think. Would you like to see trams running in our borough? Well, now's your chance to have your say. Starting this week the Council wants to know your views about bringing the tram to our borough, linking Sutton Town Centre directly to Wimbledon via Morden. Please respond by 17 August. The extension would enable local residents to access public services, opportunities for employment, housing, shopping and recreation more easily.

Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Let’s bring Trams to Sutton. If we want to bring trams to Sutton we will need support from local residents and businesses. So I was really pleased that our campaign to bring an extension of Tramlink to the borough received a massive boost recently as key local businesses rallied round to offer their support. Over 100 guests, including Norman Baker, Parliamentary Under Secretary for theDepartment for Transport. Would have for Sutton, our residents and businesses. Norman Baker, Pa...

http://colinhallsblogspot.blogspot.com/2014/06/wallingtons-new-bandstand-is-open.html
Saturday, June 14, 2014. Wallington’s new bandstand is open. Our new bandstand was officially opened in the library gardens today by Sutton’s new Mayor, Cllr Arthur Hookway. Hundreds of people attending the monthly Farmer’s Market enjoyed live music from The Bards – and a special cake – as the bandstand was put straight to work. 14 - 16 NOV 2017. Keynotes and CEES Talk. Cities lend themselves particularly well to circular business models as they act as central infrastructure hubs for key resource flows. If a city wishes to capture and recirculate nutrients more effectively for example, through industrial symbiosis then the close proximity of citizens, industry, retailers, service providers and municipal authorities offers an ideal platform to fast-track collaboration. A new economy has to be built thinking about new ways to do b...
