Mountains Move: It’s ok to be angry with Jesus
http://mountainsmove.blogspot.com/2010/05/its-ok-to-be-angry-with-jesus.html
Saturday, May 15, 2010. It’s ok to be angry with Jesus. Today I learned yet a new lesson and a new level in my faith. It’s ok to be angry with Jesus. There are a gazillion verses in the bible to help us through our anger. God knows it will be there. I think the most important thing we can do when we are angry with God… is tell Him. Mastering it… well that’s another challenge entirely. Saturday, May 15, 2010. View my complete profile. Get the Praying for Lydia button:. Blogs that Inspire Me.

Lydia’s Story | Make Me New
https://jenthompson82.wordpress.com/lydias-story
Baking. Photographing. Creating. Trying to get by. After three weeks of insane ups and downs, Lydia was finally diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Zellweger Syndrome. Basically, her cells lacked the key ingredient (peroxisomes) to dispose of their waste, and the build up of this waste would eventually poison her kidneys, liver and brain. The seizure activity was evidence that she was already in decline. She took her last breaths quietly and peacefully in our arms. Just wanted to say that I rea...

Traces of His Graces in Scripture, illustration, and in life's little lessons. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The Better Half of a Hypocrite's Life. I've learned to tell this story with great gusto and enthusiasm. It usually buys me about ten minutes of absolute silence of a room full of ninth grade swooning girls and wide-eyed ninth grade boys who are eager to find fodder to tease their Bible teacher (Justin) with. Don't quite understand it, or how people can watch 5 seconds of a game followed by five minut...

Two Sides of the Catholic Coin. The Catholic Faith in easy to understand language. Saturday, October 31, 2009. More about the Mysteries- Part 2. I will try to limit this post to pointing out the scripture passages that relate to each mystery. The first luminous mystery is the Baptism of Jesus. We see this in Matthew's Gospel, chapter 3, verses 10-17, where Jesus approaches John to be baptized in the River Jordan. Our second Luminous Mystery is the miracle at the Wedding Feast in Cana. It is many things, ...

rainbows & earthquakes: December 2012

This is my place to comment on events, blow off steam, encourage myself (and maybe you), share frustrations, show my love, grieve my losses, express my hopes, and if I am lucky, maybe figure out some of this crazy place we call life on earth. The content might sometimes get a little heavy. As an understatement. People who are grieving may write sad or difficult things and bring you down. This blog may not be for the faint of stomach or of heart. Read with caution and at your own risk. It's also been some...

Shawn has been busy with preschool, play dates, and Dr. Seuss books. Landon is enjoying some alone time with Mom and Dad before littlest Rawlings makes his appearance. He's working on curbing that temper some too (the outbursts are getting shorter, and he's not liking the trouble he gets in for them! Shawn will be starting a riding program tomorrow! Talk ...
