As mentioned in my last post, I have felt that it is time for me to participate in a blood cancer support group at the University of California - San Francisco (UCSF); I attended my first meeting this past Tuesday. As I expected, finally participating as a member of the support group was another benchmark in coming to terms with my diagnosis; it became even more "real" to me.

Wednesday, 15 April 2009. We've finally wound up the fund raising - I'm very pleased to say that the whole enterprise raised £26500! This is an excellent result for all concerned so well done to all involved and a huge thank you to everyone that donated to the cause.
