Blah, blah, blog. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Happy Birthdays and Bird Days. Yesterday was Mostyns birthday! He is now 10! We started the morning with Scott taking Mostyn to McDonalds for breakfast. Hawk was going to go too, but puked right before they left. Lovely! But, Mostyn wasn't the only one celebrating his birthday yesterday. Our little baby birds hatched. Blah, blah, blog. Friday, July 9, 2010. Say hello to my little friend. This little dude was hanging out on the wall of our back porch the other night. I say little, but he was actually pretty good size. At least 12 inches long! The kids wanted to catch him and keep him. I don't think so! I am trying to play catch up on my blog. Blah, blah, blog. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Was out of this world! I made this rocket ship for the party. We had it at the front door to greet the guests. Later, we took each child picture in it. We also played a game where the kids tried to throw a ball through the hole. Here's my little astronaut getting ready for take off! Claire helped blow up rocket balloons. Once blown up you let go of them and they go flying all over the place! The kids loved those! Ah, the cake! Monday, September 28, 2009.

Museums, Mustaches, and The Mesa Temple. While my mom was here visiting, we spent a couple of days in Scottsdale. We had fun shopping and swimming. Scott and I decided to go check out the Fiesta Bowl Museum which was just around the corner from where we were staying. Including this mustached man striking his Heisman pose. Blah, blah, blog. Friday, August 7, 2009. Happy Back to School Day. It should be a national holiday for parents! The first day back to school! Mostyn heads to third grade, and Claire hits fifth! Saturday, August 1, 2009. In the recent weeks, Scotlyn has discovered a few new things. She has discovered that she is now capable of opening every door in the house. Blah, blah, blog. Monday, February 22, 2010. Out of the mouth of "BABES". Yesterday after church, Hawk and I were busy making pudding. He has become quite the little helper in the kitchen lately. Anyway, he says to me, "mom, what's a babe? For a moment I am stunned. I am thinking, what is his dad teaching him when I am not around! So I ask, "where did you hear that word? In a song at church," he says. Oh, okay. So I say, "a babe is a baby.". I don't think so," he says. Okay," I say, "so what is a babe?
