Ramblings of a quilter. Friday, February 22, 2008. I had the dental surgery on Wednesday, and I am here to tell you, it was not pleasant, and I hope never to do it again. With all the technology they have today, there should be a better way. In addition, I am wearing a retainer that makes me talk like my 2 front teeth are missing. Not very funny at my age! Ramblings of a quilter. Sunday, January 20, 2008. Friday, January 18, 2008. We had snow this week, and in Atlanta, that is rare. It was beautiful falling and everything was crisp and white. It didn't last long though and was gone the next day. Good news is that we are supposed to get snow tonight and all day tomorrow, which is Saturday. This is a rare treat in the South, and I am happy! Today has been a really good day! Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won the. Lifelock 400 at Michigan. This is his first win in 75 races, and he gained on Kyle Busch in points. However, our cable has been out since yesterday and I had to go to Digger's to see him win! I am so excited! Dale Jr 88 Gear. Here's to many more wins!
