Barred Plymoth Rock Chickens

Barred Plymoth Rock Chickens. Mature at 20 weeks and they produce a large brown egg, but generally are not good setters. They are heat and cold tolerant and weigh in at 9.5 for Roo's and 7.5lbs for hens. They are also considered a dual purpose bird. In our flock we see 5-6 eggs a week per bird in season. Our flock was acquired from a heritage breeder named Cook's Poultry Farm in Decaturville, Tennessee. David and Heather take great pride in their flock and it really shows in these Barred Rocks!
