The latter was deliberately chosen to be a bit obscure, as it was used for a net in the Ashford area, until the sad, and sudden death of Peter G7LNH, a good friend and advocate for the 4m band. M0WYE - LF Page. Operation on the 136kHz Band at M0WYE. I use a Siemens D2006 Selective Level Meter as a receiver. My FT847 tunes down to 136kHz but is very insensitive (won't even pick up Radio 4 Long Wave! The D2006 works very well, and will work down to 10kHz. It has 80Hz and 3.1kHz IF filters, and will resolve ssb and cw. With its big meter calibrated in dB, and an attenuator calibrated in 10dB steps, it makes it very easy to do comparative measurements. Regular Events at Kennington United Church. Every Sunday morning we meet to worship God. Anybody is welcome to join us, and we start at 10.00 am and usually finish around 11.30, with tea and biscuits. The service begins with a fairly informal time of praise with lots of singing, and frequently prayer and testimony too. Radio M0WYE is a modest and low-budget affair, with converted PMR radios. That previously saw service in AA vans and Gas board vehicles. Now they roam the airwaves on the 4 and 2 meter VHF bands.
