The Salotti Family Blog. Our blog through marriage, parenting, and military life. About Amy and John}. Monday, July 19, 2010. A few pictures from Alaska. I have been working on editing some of our Alaska photos, but I never seem to get enough done to post them! I think I will wait and do a BIG blog post on our actual anniversary, August 19th, but here are a few shots! What a beautiful country. There were a bunch of waterfalls around, and John kept saying he wanted to take a little drink! It sure was cold!

The Salotti Family Blog. Our blog through marriage, parenting, and military life. About Amy and John}. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Yesterday we had a pretty impressive ice/sleet/snow/wind storm! We sat inside with friends all day and prayed we would not lose power. Today we decided to put on our snow suit that is for a 24 month old and venture out. Last time we played in the snow Owen was not too pleased. However today he LOVED IT! Posted by Amy's Avenue Blog! Wednesday, January 27, 2010. During the last m...

The Wild Blue Yonder: Garmisch
http://meredithmcooper.blogspot.com/2010/07/garmisch.html
The Wild Blue Yonder. Off We Go. The Adventures of an Air Force Wife in.Germany. Saturday, July 3, 2010. We spent a whirlwind few days in southern Germany, immediately after Chris' parents touched down for a visit. Although I have had some minor complaints about Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch, it was the easiest place for us to stay for this visit. So, away we went! On our first full day in Garmisch, we decided to stay in the local area, which of course, includes the ascent to Zugspitze. I am a m...

The Wild Blue Yonder. Off We Go. The Adventures of an Air Force Wife in.Germany. Monday, June 21, 2010. The flags are flying all over the place, so the Germans must be full of national pride because of the World Cup, right? Oh, not so fast. Sore subject. All in all, it was a good fest. And, they already started advertising for our village Oktoberfest! Below is a picture of our new "King". You can't completely tell from this picture, but there were lots of people wearing coats. And, it's June! NATO had a ...

The Wild Blue Yonder. Off We Go. The Adventures of an Air Force Wife in.Germany. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Jackson was a glow worm this year. He was a cute one, too. He passed out pretty quickly in his stroller, but we had a good time walking around and checking out the costumes. I've decided that I want Jack to be a bee next year. There was an adorable little toddler running around as a bee, and it was absolutely precious. Friday, October 30, 2009. I was only disappointed that I really didn't interact...

The Wild Blue Yonder. Off We Go. The Adventures of an Air Force Wife in.Germany. Saturday, July 3, 2010. Uno, Ein, One! My sweet Jackson Thomas is one year old today! I can hardly believe it. It seems like only yesterday that I came out of 36 hours of labor to finally have a c-section; that I had to be talked off of a ledge every day because I really did not like nursing; that I had a teeny tiny baby to hold. I am pleased to say that we actually made it an entire year of nursing! Although we chose not to...

Our little Roman statue, on an ancient pillar outside the Trier Roman baths:. On our final day, we packed up the car and took the scenic route to Burg Eltz before heading home. Oh, this was spectacular! Then, a big surprise. During my 30th week of pregnancy, some complications arose. We went very early one morning to our hospital. I was quit...They sent...
