Joanne's nail art ideas: giraffe??
http://nailartideas.blogspot.com/2011/06/giraffe.html
Joanne's nail art ideas. Friday, 17 June 2011. Wow, it's been a while since I posted on here. I've been having fun with the barry M crackle polish. it's brilliant over bright colours, I think these look a bit like giraffe skin. It's really really easy to use, but I have found that it soon starts to clog in the bottle, so make sure you don't save it for best, just get on and use it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Allsorts and everything: January postcard swap
http://allsortsandeverything.blogspot.com/2013/01/january-postcard-swap.html
Thursday, 24 January 2013. This is my postcard for the January postcard swap over on UK Stampers. The theme this month is New Beginnings. I'm fond of this stork stamp and stamped it out and coloured it in using my copics and a white paint marker. I removed the leg portion of the stamp when I cut it out and positioned him as 'flying in'. I used individual letters from a small stamp set to stamp the wording. And I stamped the sentiment stamp using distress ink and then popped the hand and foot prints on.

Allsorts and everything: January 2012
http://allsortsandeverything.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 January 2012. The details of the Altered tin that I made for the swap over on UK Stampers. The theme was wings. Glitter Monkey has now received the tin so I can share with the world :-). This is the outside of the tin. And this is the inside. Firstly I covered the tin using 12x12 paper. I stamped the image, cut it out and then coloured the flesh areas with Copics. I used crackle accents for the wings which I sprinkled with glitter whilst wet. I used a key as a 'handle'. Links to this post.

Allsorts and everything: June 2012
http://allsortsandeverything.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 11 June 2012. Castles in the air . The theme for the UK Stampers June postcard swap. And this is my take on the theme. Firstly I drew a cloud shape to use as a mask, positioned it on the postcard and used my distress inks to produce the background, leaving the cloud shape white. I used the sentiment and the castle image from my Lindsay Mason set. I coloured the image using my copics. So there you have it - my take on the 'In the sky' theme is Castles in the air :-). Joanne's nail art ideas: July 2010
http://nailartideas.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Joanne's nail art ideas. Wednesday, 28 July 2010. Orange and pink two tone nails. This is another nail done with sponging, and then stamped in red with konad M51. I have only done my thumb as I was just experimenting with the colour, and then I had to take it off to go to work. Working in healthcare means short nails, no nail varnish. but when I'm not at work I can do what I like with my nails! I really love these toenails. Quite a lot involved in doing these, but nothing difficult. And boy do I love it.
