A librarian origin story. I was born in Minneapolis, MN and grew up in Fridley, a Twin Cities suburb. As a child, I spent many hours at the Columbia Heights Public Library. Across the street from my grade school. I even spent my middle school summers handing out prizes for the summer reading program and picking puppets for storytime. Four years, a brand new museum, and a newfound love of databases later, I decided to take the leap into library school.
