The girls had never been camping and I'm not a big camper but we had a lot of fun. We went to a campground 5 miles up the canyon from Nephi. They had a swimming pool which the girls loved! We were able to borrow a trailer so we didn't have to use a tent. The girls really want to go again next summer so we hope to make it again. Our home away from home.

And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Friday, August 26, 2011. Spanish Fork City always has a big celebration for July 24th (Pioneer Day) which they call Fiesta Days. We did a lot that week and weekend. On Thursday night (July 21) we went to the Rodeo. On Saturday July 23, Katelynn rode on our ward's float in the Children's Parade. The children were to dress up as what they wanted to be when they grew up. Katelynn dressed up as a cowgirl. Played on the bounce house. At the Splash Pad.

And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Friday, January 13, 2012. Katelynn was chosen as a "Hansen Hero" in September 2011 at school. Every month the teachers are asked to choose a student in their classroom who is helpful, obedient and a good example to other students. And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Sunday, March 25, 2012. All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth! In October 2011, Katelynn lost both of her 2 front teeth. She lost the first at the beginning and the second on October 30th. She was so excited to lose both teeth and I told her she was a perfect Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween. She was definitely singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"! Her mouth is tiny like her mother's and she has some big teeth coming in.

Katelynn started First Grade at Brockbank Elementary School on August 22, 2011. She was a little nervous, but had a great first day! Her teacher is Mrs. Bird whom we both LOVE! She didn't want me to walk with her into the school, and didn't want pictures, but I insisted! With her friend Jordan outside her classroom.

And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Friday, February 17, 2012. In mid-October we went to Disneyland. We went when Katelynn had Fall Break at school so she only missed a few days of school. We did Mickey's Halloween Party which allowed us to trick-or-treat at Disneyland.
