Yr Hendy The Old House. Yr Hendy was the original farmhouse at Maen Dewi and has recently been updated, providing comfortable and spacious accommodation for 4 adult guests and a small child or infant. The house is at the far end of the farm yard and has uninterrupted views over the Dowrog Pools Nature Reserve. It has a kitchen with oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Food and Drink (St Davids-Porthgain). Our cottages are a mile away from the centre of St Davids and five miles from Porthgain, so do try some of these great restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. St Davids Cross Hotel. The Oriel y Parc Café. The Sloop Inn (Porthgain). Open weekends Easter to October Term and 7 days May to September, offering ice cream, teas coffees and home-made cakes. Our life here on the farm. Steven comes from Sheffield and Pippa from north Derbyshire, but both of us worked in London for many years. We holidayed in St Davids for decades before taking the plunge and buying a property locally. After a while splitting our lives between London and Pembrokeshire we decided to make the big move and live here full time, purchasing Maen Dewi in 2012.
