Maggie Schiller's PR Blog: October 2010

http://maggiecspr.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Professional Development Session 1 PRSSA National Conference. Bob Lehrman, a former speech writer for Al Gore as well as Taylor Griffin, who worked for the Bush campaign, were the first set of speakers at professional development sessions who I had the pleasure of listening to. Here are some semi-random thoughts and things which I learned in this session:. 4) Who are the people who you focus on in a race? Do a semester/summer in Washington. An internship, though often unpa...

Leah's PR Journey: January 2010

http://leahsprjourney.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 18, 2010. Why did I choose to major in public relations. When I first came to college I was determined to be an athletic trainer. I went to some of the classes, but soon decided that it was not for me. It was not until my sophomore year that I decided to look into mass communications as a major. When I started taking the pre-mass communications classes. I learned to love the major and thought that public relations might be for me. Posted by Leah Rapaport. Links to this post. SM in the PM.
