Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady: October 2009
http://onpoppylane.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Sunday, October 25, 2009. The work is started! The kids were very excited about watching a "digger" dig a hole in the ground. Mitchell loved playing around and on the dirt. Caleb was excited to throw rocks into the hole. He didn't get to, but he tried. We had to hold him back a few times from jumping in! Actually they were just posing, but sometimes it's hard to sit still when you are two. Next, we had our foundation poured! Moving right a long! Caleb loved the corn pit.

Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady: Getting Out
http://onpoppylane.blogspot.com/2009/12/getting-out.html
Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent the day in Wyoming with Clint's family. The food was great and the kids had a fun time playing outside in the warmer weather. I forgot my camera though so the only Thanksgiving picture we have is of Mitchell with his turkey apple he made in preschool. He was very kind and let Caleb eat most of it. Here are Caleb and Mitchell as police officers. Caleb loved playing in the water. I am glad your boys liked it.

Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady: October 2008
http://onpoppylane.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Sunday, October 26, 2008. There was no way of getting these two to hold still or smile at the same time. But what was amazing was how long they kept the wigs on. Cary and I both thought it would last 10 seconds. They kept them on most of the night. Cary and I were only holding wigs for about the last 20 minutes of the night. I was very impressed! Saturday night we went to a local farm the was showing "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and giving hay rides for free....

Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Sunday, September 28, 2008. She'll never know. . . Becca is sound asleep in the chair and I know she wanted to update the blog today. I thought I'd take a stab at it for once. I know that the best part of a blog is the pictures, but I might find a good story to talk about by the time I've posted everything. . . The bottom of the wall is the chalkboard paint. Mitchell loves to draw on the wall and is starting to write notes with our help. Sunday, September 7, 2008. 3 Helpin...

Ross and I took a day trip to Houston where Robert and Julie Sorenson took us out to lunch and then Ross spent some time at Rice University checking out some family history. Apparently one of his great grandfathers had dealings with Sam Houston before Texas was even a state. I Loved getting to spend time giggling with Julie. Nate's real birthday isn't until tomorrow but we had a cake a candles for him before we left. And here...

Becca's had done a great job of lettering Star Wars on the cake and Taz ruined it with one big lick! Zachary was baptised and confirmed by his Dad on September 4. Labor Day we went to Promontory Point for the reinactment of the "Golden Spike". Fun to see the steam engines in action. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Create your own visitor map! View my complete profile. Friday, July 9, 2010. I have been making beaded spiders - just my latest obsession. One day Caleb came to play and lined them all up to go to pre-school. David had his 38th birthday. He is now a year older than me. Joseph's 6th birthday. All he wanted was Legos. Please note his interest in the birthday pie versus his gifts. Tim started back to school after his two week summer break. He needed to get all spiffed up. This was before the haircut.

Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Sunday, January 4, 2009. Was charged with creating the blog for the new year week, and I started this last Sunday, and finally finished this. . . Last week was great! We finished off the year with a bang. Mitchell got a soda science kit for Christmas from his cousin Porter and we got a chance to use it. Mitchell and I didn't know Becca was awake when we did the experiment of Mentos. If you haven't seen the two guys that put on a show using the Mentos. Becca's Mom and Dad.
