By the time I got to Ringwood North 30 minutes later it was drizzling persistently. We all huddled in each other’s cars wondering whether we just skip the run and head straight for coffee. As 10 o’clock ticked around, we all opted for the run (except for Geoff) and headed out into the rain and wind. In 48 minutes at 159 bpm (6:41/km). Bah… what diet? From your own site.

Louise’s Running Life. Laquo; Struggle-O @ Valley Reserve. Street-O @ Bellbird Dell. Booked some cheap airfares to New Zilund this morning, so now I have to practuce my uccent before I go “home”. :p. I found the first bug when it only gave me about 10 seconds recovery between the first two 50m sprints. Warmup 1.46km (5:49/km). 50m Sprint (4:04/km) carefull that I don’t *twang* my quads again. 200m Sprint (2:41/km) that’s gotta be a mis-sprint! Bugger the warm down, we’re stuffed! Popsicle is back from Adelaide, and I finally got around to re-programming and re-setting everything the way I like it. And the sewing machine is back from the doctor, cleaned and with a broken spring repaired. Just in time for me to finish off a convergence quilt and pack it all away into a box. Went to yoga (first time since August last year). Hated every minute of it ("I'm going this for my body" - repeat until done). Hip complained during the two knee-to-chest poses. Ankle complained during the several kneeling poses. Body complained during most of the standing poses (felt dizzy). Got home close to 11pm, and didn't get to bed until 12:30.

Monday, May 28, 2007. Great half, at a cost. So I've been gone for a while, sorry about that. Even more amazing is the time that Carly got. Last year she ran a half in 2:23. Yesterday she ran it in 1:51, a 32 minute improvement! She has really worked hard on her running and weight this year, and it has certainly paid off. Good to see you are still with us :-). Well done on the half, that's a pretty zippy time. And congrats to Carly too. Wow, that is amazing - over 1 minute per km faster! Supple - part 2.
