Sunday, July 22, 2012. Trip to Stanley Idaho. This is darian driving up to Stanley Idaho wearing his dad's eye bra. We thought we were going to run out of gas between Ogden and Twin Falls but thank goodness for Malta! On our stop in Malta Kian bought some arrowheads and made them into spears with rubber bands. Then, naturally, he tried to spear fish and other small animals. We heard a cool lecture about wolves and coyotes. We rented a boat and saw some great views of Red Fish Lake. Saw some old friends.

Sunday, October 09, 2011. Kian and I practiced for picture day this year. We went with this one. Kian also said something so sweet yesterday. He said, mom I don't want you to have another baby. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Highlight of the Summer: 2 weeks on the Beach. We met Madar and baba (and mamanee and Darius on the beach. It was the most relaxing part of the summer. Kian's highlight was surf lessons with his dad! And surfing with his uncle Darius. Darian enjoyed cuddling with mamanee on the couch and being snuck food by her every chance she got. And of course, playing on the beach and learning to swim the length of the pool at home. Relaxing with mom in the hot tub. Messing around in the pool.

Saturday, January 14, 2012. Kian gets his tonsils out: January 12, 2012. So Kian's tonsils have always been large, but he got sick in December and they grew even bigger. So we decided to get them out so he can breathe easier and stop snoring. Kian was such a brave kid at the surgery. He didn't cry or complain and the nurse said that when he woke up right after the surgery and they removed the tube from his mouth, the first thing he said was: "thanks for taking such good care of me". To kian from Santa.

Saturday, November 03, 2012. We carved pumpkins with Geidy and Daniel and Izzy. And lit them up. Went to a trunk-or-treat. Posed as super Heros. Went trick or treating. Especially at "hotels" (apartment buildings) which mom has taught us are very efficient places to knock. And then the Baradaran sorting began and a little trading.
