Wednesday, December 9, 2009. December 9- Due Date. Today, December 9, is Maia's due date. I should be at the hospital giving birth but instead I am watching my little 3-month-old daughter sleep. She should just be arriving in the world today and yet she has already grown and changed so much and shown us just how strong a little 2lb 6oz girl can be. Monday, November 23, 2009. Sixty seven days later and Maia was finally able to join us at home. She came home weighing 6 pounds and measuring 19 inches. She was 37 weeks and 1 day gestation. We have now had over four days at home all together as a family. Life with two little girls is smooth so far since Maia sleeps most of the day and Matt is off work until next Monday. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Day 46 and 34 Weeks Gestation. Maia has reached day 46 of her stay in the NICU. The time has really started going by fast. It is still hard to believe that if Maia went full term, I should be pregnant for 6 more weeks. Her last day in her isolette. Maia in her big girl crib. She has been smiling a lot in her sleep.
