The travels and adventures of a California transplant. Tuesday, October 27, 2015. I drive through Veazie almost everyday, but only recently took a hike through McPhetres Farm Forest. The forest is a 25 acre lot next to Fairview Cemetery. There are many different trees including white oak and 100 year old white pine trees. You cannot beat an autumn hike. Look at those leaf colors! BRADLEY – Three classes will be offered this Saturday, August 8 at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum. From 10 am-1 pm Janet Alexander will be teaching warping a loom. The museum is hoping for some volunteers to be ready to take over when Janet moves in the fall. This will be volunteer training time! The cost is $40. Read the E-edition On Line.
