dwelling in possibility: August 2009
http://mainegirll.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. Here's the link again to my new blog. I just put up my first Spain post! Friday, August 21, 2009. I love Shannon Hale's blog post. What does that say about me? Especially if lots of other folks don't seem to have that reaction. Once I read the first book in a series and I thought it was a fun read. Then I read two more in the series and I suddenly didn't like the first. That can't be communicated with stars. What do you think? Saturday, August 15, 2009. Thursday, August 13, 2009.

http://mainegirll.blogspot.com/2009/08/fort-knox.html
Saturday, August 15, 2009. Thursday we went with Ave, JW, and family to Fort Knox State Park in Bucksport. They've built a new bridge with an observatory tower. We've had perfect weather here in Maine since we arrived August 2nd. I think they were all joshing about it being a miserable, cold, wet summer. Yeah, right. I remember going there in 5th grade. Chocolate on my Cranium. Look at the view behind you on that first picture! Hahahahahaha I didnt realize G had her leg in the cannon hole.

Tuesday, August 04, 2009. We finally made it. We ended up leaving MN two and a half days later than we'd planned because it took that much longer than anticipated to leave the house ready for the renter. We left Friday at noon and he started moving in 4 hours later. We got here Sunday afternoon just in time for LmX's birthday celebration. Check out the gorgeous pinyata handmade by LmX's dad! Thats nice the weather has turned for you. What the crap is it with JW? What makes him so crafty? A Reason to Blog.

"JUST" THOUGHTS: The Long Commute
http://justindow.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-long-commute.html
As I sit here writing this my shoes are drip-drying on the vent and my damp socks are keeping my feet cold under my desk. My commute to work did not go as planned. Last night, Aaron. South had to come back down the track as there was no way to go. I looked at the news on KSL.com to see that a person had been hit by the train. I felt bad for my frustrations and hoped he was OK. We made a couple of stops and then I thought we were approaching 21. We eventually arrived at 21. 28 January, 2013 14:00. Poulson...

Facing fear #1: I can't stop counting all the security cameras that are on every street. Major Mal To Ground Control: July 2008
http://majormal.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 14, 2008. DON'T think for one second though that I'm done blogging. Although I've talked about starting up another blog for Mike and I, I simply haven't got around to it. Give me a break! I'm in the middle of the woods with shoddy internet capabilities. Mike, on the other hand, took the initiative and started it up for us. He even made the first entry. Go to www.mikeandmal.blogspot.com. And give it a look. I think we've got potential. This is Major Mal, over and out. ;). Cookin' Up a Storm.

Everyone but the Votaws and Lindsays (we missed you guys! Christmas day was great, we had our traditional cinnamon toast for breakfast and opened presents. Saturday, July 14, 2007. Read This to Your Boys! Okay, so, last May there was a prance (prom/dance) held in the Saipan Branch cultural hall. Let me tell you the story real quick and I'll get on to why it's a little annoying to me. A few months into this whole affair, and they almost had to cancel it all. The tickets weren't selling. TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS and they weren't selling! Renting a tux can cost anywhere from $45 to $90. But boys in high school - nix that, boys in general - are obviously not too...

Maine Girl
Poetry by Debbi McGlauflin. September 25, 2017 by dmcglauflin. Either way, I’m on the wrong side of the glass. Looking out at the frenzy of sparrows at the feeder. Feathered slaves to instinct. Coffee cup warming my hands. The mammal in me stirs. A brief moment of limbic contentment. Before the neocortex overthinks the day. My hot breath clouds the glass. I trace my initials and suddenly I’m through! Aflutter, perched on a branch. Singing my surprise at being a flock. Not yet but soon we’ll fly them south.

Life in exile
Wednesday, March 05, 2008. I just watched Michael Collins.you know, with Liam Neeson and Aidan Quinn and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers when he was like 12 years old? I feel as though we've been lulled into a false sense of security. Something has been rotten in the state of Denmark, and we've just gotten used to the smell. Every form of tyranny.including those so insidious, you don't notice until its too late. You can't pronounce latte? Look it up in the dictionary! God forbid we learn to speak another language!
