http://marciesquilttherapy.blogspot.com/2015/05/stefanis-getting-married.html
Saturday, May 30, 2015. Well, we have a week from today. Stefani will be a married lady - and off to Aruba for almost TWO WEEKS. She is really getting excited and so are we, for her. For us? Stef saw this quilt in one of my quilt magazines and LOVED IT! She hadn't really seen the fabric - just loved the colors and the design. When it arrived and I read the BELIEVE poem, I knew this was for her! Sounds like good "marriage" and. Life" advice to me. I don't think we'll be able to get Mom in and out of the c...

Marcie's Quilt Therapy: Mother's Day Sale
http://marciesquilttherapy.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day-sale.html
Saturday, May 2, 2015. I even had the camera out and ready! Stefani and Mom helped me put on a Happy Mother's Day sale in the front yard this morning. What a beautiful day to be outside! We sold 4 and one lady brought back a quilt top in 2 pieces (king size when it's done) that was sewn and quilted by her husband but never put together. Somehow, I'm going to join the 2 pieces together (I know there must be a way! And that means I'll be going to the quilt shop on Tuesday (they're closed on Monday)! NO ONE...

The Great RV Escape: Winterization
http://thegreatrvescape.blogspot.com/2013/10/winterization.html
The Great RV Escape. Chronicles of a couple of Baby Boomers traveling the country fulltime in a motorhome for awhile. If we needed one more thing to remind us we're no longer traveling full time, we got it today. We winterized the moose. The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Warning as temperatures were forecasted to dip well into the 20s Thursday night. We pulled Bullwinkle out of storage, parked him in our driveway and turned on the heat. The moose made it through the chilly night just f...The p...

Marcie's Quilt Therapy: Beautiful mountain morning...
http://marciesquilttherapy.blogspot.com/2015/04/beautiful-mountain-morning.html
Thursday, April 23, 2015. We actually had RAIN yesterday - everyone was so excited! It didn't last very long but we did get wet! Here are a few photos of the newest Jacob's Ladder quilt since it's now completed. I really like it! The last one has a back side view of Beau (he wouldn't cooperate with me) but you can see his new haircut! I really need to "share" some of my finished projects with others and I'm hoping this will be the way! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Quiltville's Quips and Snips!

http://marciesquilttherapy.blogspot.com/2015/04/premier-of-go-cutter.html
Friday, April 24, 2015. Premier of the GO Cutter. Happy Birthday to me! I can today officially write about my birthday gift from my family.my new Accuquilt GO Cutter! It's really cool - have completed my first scrappy quilt made from 2 1/2" squares cut with the cutter - much faster and more accurate than using my rotary cutter! I posted photos of it yesterday. Today, I'm making pinwheel squares with half-square triangles made with the cutter! I'll reveal the pinwheel quilt soon! Premier of the GO Cutter.

Marcie's Quilt Therapy: March 2015
http://marciesquilttherapy.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 9, 2015. So, about 2 weeks ago I had the opportunity to test a new pattern by Connie at Freemotion by the River. I have followed her blog for quite some time now and I enjoy seeing all of her projects. This new pattern is called Aruba Sunset. She did her samples in pink/orange,cream and a pink/orange print. I needed a table topper in my kitchen that might use some of my blue/white In The Beginning fabric I love. SOOO, here it is:. Saturday, March 7, 2015. My trip to Montana. I got the tour ...

The Great RV Escape: December 2012
http://thegreatrvescape.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
The Great RV Escape. Chronicles of a couple of Baby Boomers traveling the country fulltime in a motorhome for awhile. As I ponder the possible subjects for the last of my 366 daily snaps of the year, and Paul considers the first of his for tomorrow, we find ourselves reflecting in the final hours of 2012. This was a year that didn't exactly go as planned. (Do they ever? Was an unexpected and welcome treat. Our now trouble-free moose has made us happy campers, indeed! As fun as it was to revisit familiar ...

The Great RV Escape: April 2013
http://thegreatrvescape.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
The Great RV Escape. Chronicles of a couple of Baby Boomers traveling the country fulltime in a motorhome for awhile. Did we really say we bought a house? Technically, we haven't bought it just yet. We made an offer, which has been accepted. We're currently in escrow. (And, that's such an exciting place to be! So, what's up? What prompted these two nomads to cough up the cash for a 2,100-square-foot split level in the 'burbs? Perhaps the best way to explain what's up is to answer a few questions. We feel...

The Great RV Escape: Time, Energy and Money
http://thegreatrvescape.blogspot.com/2013/07/time-energy-and-money.html
The Great RV Escape. Chronicles of a couple of Baby Boomers traveling the country fulltime in a motorhome for awhile. Time, Energy and Money. We thought this move would be simple. Who were we foolin'? It's been six weeks since we became land barons. By this time we were sure we'd be settled. Life would be normal, or close to it. The transition from living in a rolling home to a stick and brick house would be a distant memory. We're making progress. But, we are surprised at how much energy this never-...

The Great RV Escape: July 2013
http://thegreatrvescape.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
The Great RV Escape. Chronicles of a couple of Baby Boomers traveling the country fulltime in a motorhome for awhile. Four years ago today we set off on our Great RV Escape. This is one of our favorite "anniversaries". It's a joy to recall the incredible sense of freedom we had on that day, remember everything it took to get there and celebrate all of the memories we've created since. Lesson #1: Live Simply. Lesson #2: America Rocks. Lesson #3: Age is Just a Number. Lesson #4: Go Outside. When we hit the...
