Thursday, January 6, 2011. Lately I have been struggling with the fact that we have two dogs. Who am I kidding when I say lately? He drools. a lot! It's the kind of drool that can also be referred to as shoelaces. Yeah, he has shoelaces hanging off the sides of his mouth. Thursday, August 25, 2011. Did mention I hate comparisons? I hate feeling like I don't measure up or even worse that my children don't measure up. I try really hard not to compare my children to other children. They are who they are each uniquely different and for that I am eternally grateful. You ARE a super mom! Friday, July 29, 2011. Summer.There is nothing better. We have been to a few lakes. I dread bathing suit photos, but I am mostly covered in this one so I will let it slide. John and I have done a couple of 5Ks. (The Cakes did a major half marathon, which I need to blog about -soon! Today, in honor of the big 35 (mine, not his) we brought the kids to Adirondack Animal Park and they loved it. I loved it too! Can someone please swap me out and put me on Green Acres? Sunday, January 22, 2012. A new place to sleep! On Friday night of the long weekend, Brielle got a new item added to her room: A princess bed! She picked out the princess comforter and sheets online. When Daddy brought them home for her, she said "Thank you Daddy! We are now on a week of her sleeping in her new bed! She made the transition very nicely! She calls for us to come get her.she will NOT get out of the bed without one of us there! This is Brielle when I left the room at 8PM on Friday night.

Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Sunday was the annual Youth Triathlon. Will's 4th, Kylie's 2nd (but 1st all by herself). It is a 50 yd. swim, a 1.6 mile bike ride and a .75 mile trail run. Since being on the swim team for 2 weeks, they are both amazing swimmers. Kylie swam her 50 yards and got dressed to bike in 4:53. Will did it in 3:25. That is their time from the "go" to swim to when they got on their bike to ride, so it includes their getting their shoes and shirts and helmets on. Sunday, June 7, 2015.
