A little irreverent: March 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2014. We made it on the plane. This is a really charming hotel. Wow, we are right downtown. I think I slept on a yoga mat, that bed is hard. GINGER AT THE BEACH! There is nothing wrong with applying sunscreen with a butter knife. It's nice to spend time with that one guy I live with, what's his name again? I'm still recovering from jet lag. :). I thought I was dreaming, but it was real life. I'm still not over the euphoria of my shark dive. Arrrrgh, let's explore the pirate museum.

A little irreverent: Happy November
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-november.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. This statement doesn't have anything to do with the rest of this post, but I'm so excited about it, I wanted to share it first. I'm going skydiving this Friday. Okay, now I can move on. I have a lot of stray quotes and conversations I want to share. Carry on and enjoy, if you'd like. (Oh, and I didn't proofread, again.). Watch out for the Whomping Willow. On the way to Hogwarts. O - "DAAAAAAD, I HATE bacon! L - "Who hates bacon? Where did you come from? O - "I love you! LT - "W...

http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Fieldwork, part 2 and then some. Our second fieldwork day was at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. We took a nice and LONG bus ride, SCHOOL bus ride to DC. It's a good thing the air conditioning worked, meaning all of the windows could open. Ha ha ha. The students have been learning and researching about butterflies, and there just happens to be a butterfly exhibit at the museum. How perfect! Well, she got a nice shot of the fan. A holding a caterpillar. O contemplating, o...

A little irreverent: October 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. A little bit Savage and a lot COLD. Here we are at the starting line. On a side note, I have a pretty pathetic camera and not only is it slow, but it pooped out shortly after we started. Before the next race in May, I am most definitely getting a different one. The actual name is really vulgar so I’ve renamed it for this post.). I was trying to get an awesome shot of the. Huge clamp used to hold the boards together,. And then Helen decided to jump in. It totally ruined my shot.

Hawkins Halftime Show: Hawkins Family Shin Digs!
http://hawkinshalftimeshow.blogspot.com/2015/08/hawkins-family-shin-digs.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Hawkins Family Shin Digs! I really admire my mother-in-laws family. They've had a reunion every year for. like 50 years! I was really sad that my own extended family cancelled the annual reunion this year in Provo. Boooo! I tell you what, you skip for just one year, it is sooooo much harder to get them going again. I miss seeing all my cousins. Maybe each family should take turns planning? Oh, who knows how to keep these things going? We didn't want to leave! Here we go again!

Gardner's Dirt: June 2009
http://gardnersdirt.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 13, 2009. He wasn't about to miss it. So he didn't. That day I received an e-mail from the school announcing that they have had a case of Swine Flu. Oh great. Zander came home from school and felt great. However, the next morning his fever was pretty high and he told me with a quivering lip and tears welling in his big blue eyes. Mom, I don't feel so good, I don't think I'm gonna make it to school today. I knew it was serious, this was the LAST day of school! Vinny asked. "Yep" I answe...

We will be getting sealed on June 21, 2014 in the Salt Lake temple, but we felt it was important to take our first temple trip in our hometown. My sweet inlaws watched the kids and when we came home I don't think they even cared. Hadley could play with her Papa Brad and Grandma JuJu all day! Hadley has a strong sound sensitiv...
