March 01, 2008. In just a bit, my youngest will show up with a U-Haul truck and some friends to load up all her earthly possessions and move to California. The three of them together don't have a lot, so I imagine they will still have room in the truck. Their dreams and hopes will fill the remaining space - and then some. I find myself in the second half of the year marveling at the twists and turns of events and how much I have and haven't accomplished with these days. In all of this the one constant has been the Word and the sweetness of the presence of the Lord. It has been a somewhat solitary journey, though not intentionally so.
