Floral Medallion Dresser in Midnight Navy - The Resplendent Crow
http://www.theresplendentcrow.com/medallion-dresser
Floral Medallion Dresser in Midnight Navy. I was on the hunt for this kind of floral medallion dresser for a while until on popped in an estate sale. It was purchased by the client from my raw inventory on etsy. The before picture I have is not even the worst version of it. The center drawers had plastic decorative thingy that had to go! This picture is courtesy of my friend Beth. I pulled those off the minute I unloaded the dresser into the shop. It got rid of the country vibe instantly! I wanted the go...

The Apollonia: To Be or Not to Be… | Urban DEN

Urban Life, Urban Design, Urban Art, Urban at Heart. The Apollonia: To Be or Not to Be…. Self-doubt. Something every single artist experiences, almost on a daily basis…and for that matter, it is something that every human faces. I can usually work through my self-doubt rather efficiently, but every once in a while my self-doubt begins to feel like a huge ACME anvil that Wily Coyote dropped on me. This time, the ACME anvil looked a lot like this:. Not so bad, you say? And the beautiful routed detailing!

Meet “The Hammond” | Urban DEN
https://urbanden.net/2013/07/30/meet-the-hammond
Urban Life, Urban Design, Urban Art, Urban at Heart. Meet “The Hammond”. Okay, so you know that whole post. I made last week…you know, the one about “I don’t. Neutrals,” welllllllll that’s not technically true. I guess I should have said something like, “I don’t. Do neutrals.”. And this one…. Before: In good, solid shape, but needed some work. Don’t normally find such detailed mirrors on utilitarian, farmhouse dressers. 8230;said she wanted to wear a classic and sophisticated. A view of the side slats.

South Beach Inspired: The Blue and White Dresser. December 1, 2014. November 24, 2015. Okay, so I may not know when to say when. I probably held on way too long to the pink and orange color combination that I loved so much. No one else did.😦 Actually, I should say that it was favored many times on Etsy, and got many nice comments on the original post and on facebook, but remained unpurchased. That is the telltale sign. I finally got it. How do you like me now? This piece is available in my Etsy shop.

Made For A King. Made For A King. Life, Love and Furniture. I’ve never worked on something that was so terrible in its’ before stage, before. This was a desk given to a coworker of mine by another coworker of mine. It is a good sixty years old, had been painted three times, the last of which was HIDEOUS! It was an obnoxious green, and apparently matched someone’s dinosaur themed room. Here is my husband and father-in-law being so kind and helping me scrape it! These are the three different stencils I used.

The Newest of Old: My New Bed!
http://thenewestofold.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-new-bed.html
The Newest of Old. Monday, 16 December 2013. I found a local carpenter and requested a new bed from him. and boy, did he deliver! My bed is made from old panel doors framed with solid poplar. The entire bed fits together without the need for screws or bolts which really helps with ease of take-down and set-up. He gave me the raw wood bed frame and I painted it just the way I wanted it! And now I want to go to bed just to be near it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget.
