Adventures Among Hills and Fog. Thursday, August 13, 2009. Today, I stood in the rain listening to eagles cry and ate blackberries right off the bush. Then, I walked back up to this lovely little house in the middle of so many trees and had a cup of tea and baked 2 kinds of cookies. And the newly passed, but not yet signed, California budget (which still leaves a gap of 3.6 billion, and Arnold has said he'll line item veto several things that the legislature were particularly passionate about). Adventures Among Hills and Fog. Friday, July 24, 2009. I used to sort of agree with the partial-birth abortion ban. With some exceptions (life of the mother or the child were in danger, mostly). Then, I read this article: Between a Woman and her Doctor. Anyway. Every child a wanted child. If I must have my unwanted baby, will you at least help me take care of it? Instead of abandoning me without health insurance, food, a home, any hope of a decent life for myself and my child. Dont ask dont tell.

Adventures Among Hills and Fog. Saturday, September 27, 2008. Good lord, my life is boring. Nothing new, nothing unexpected. Two things that particularly struck me:. 1) How much higher the level of debate was than in the last two series of debates. Both candidates were well informed, and had direct contact with each other, and answered a good portion of the questions (also, Jim Lehrer, you are amazing). Friday, September 5, 2008.
