Mallett Mayhem

December 26, 2010. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For the first time in 12 years, we were home, by ourselves and not having to rush off to anywhere, from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve. We had some great, relaxing family time. It was a nice Christmas with my little family. Building the gingerbread house. More eating happened than building. But it was still fun. A strand of lights went out on the tree Christmas Eve. What great timing. Cute kids in the wrapping paper. Checking out what Santa brought them.

Mallett Mayhem: June 2010

http://www.mallettmayhem.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

June 17, 2010. Staycation #1 - Fossil Rim. Were met by zebras and deer of several kinds. They were all used to being fed by the tours so they were very friendly. We saw many animals on our 3 hour drive through the park. Leland got to feed a giraffe from his hand; we had zebra, a type of ram, and deer stick their heads into our pickup looking for more food. We loved this quick staycation. We highly recommend visiting Fossil Rim. June 01, 2010. Our baby turned 3 this weekend. She was sooo. I am the wife of...

Mallett Mayhem: Christmas with the Wiggains

http://www.mallettmayhem.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-with-wiggains.html

December 26, 2010. Christmas with the Wiggains. For the holidays this year, my family came to DFW. My dad found some cabins on Lake Grapevine. Each family had their own small cabin right on the lake. It was great. The weather was wonderful and we all had a great, relaxing time. The moon the morning after the lunar eclipse. Leland and I had set an alarm to see the eclipse. We got Ryland. Part of Lake Grapevine right by our cabins. This is the only picture we got of all the older grandkids. Mitch also play...

Mallett Mayhem: Christmas Parade & Holiday in the Park

http://www.mallettmayhem.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-parade-holiday-in-park.html

December 26, 2010. Christmas Parade and Holiday in the Park. We had a fun weekend in December. On Saturday was the Mansfield Christmas Parade. The kids and I really enjoyed the parade. We gathered lots of candy and saw lots of fun stuff. A great time. On Sunday we went to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags. We LOVE Holiday in the Park. It was pretty cold that night, but we went prepared so we weren't miserable. We had lots of fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Weenie Dog Roast: August 2008

http://weeniesrunamok.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 23, 2008. This is Chopper's typical pose while soaking up some sun. His fur is very thin, and heat escapes from his body, so he LOVES to be out in the yard. I always think he looks dead. One day we were watching a movie, and I looked over to find Harley sleeping like this. Just had to get a picture! My cousin put together a wonderful slide show of photos of the Strealy clan through the years. It was great to see my extended family, most of whom I haven't seen in more than 10 years.

Weenie Dog Roast: December 2009

http://weeniesrunamok.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 1, 2009. This is the first time we've stayed home on a major holiday and cooked for ourselves. It was a beautiful day, and we enjoyed cooking together and taking the pups on 2 long walks. This was the mess from our day of cooking:. That's literally all the counter space we have. We plan to build in another row of cabinets at some point in the future. It's on our "when we have money" list. We had fun anyway. No dressing up this year. Maybe we'll get to that next year! Party of 5: August 2010

http://laurendill.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD. Psalm 113:9. Wednesday, August 4, 2010. As we were driving to Nacogdoches in Alto we saw the signs for the Caddo mounds, so we decided to stop and walk around some. The path was just over a mile, and everyone did well for the most part, the boys ran a lot and Caitlyn walked about half the way before I had to pick her up. We had a lot of fun our vacation. In a couple of weeks we will head to Cedar Creek Lake where ...

He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD. Psalm 113:9. Thursday, December 23, 2010. A couple of posts in one. Thank you for the amazing privilege of being a mother this Christmas season. What a responsibility you’ve given me as the “Memory Maker” of this home. Allow for good and loving memories of the holiday season in the hearts and minds of my children. Create in me a clean heart, God, one that overlooks the shortcomings of myself and others. A trip to Santa.

Twice the Blessings, Twice the Fun, Two Little Miracles, Instead of One! Saturday, January 31, 2015. We've had a busy month! Mommy had tonsillitis, Daddy had a sore throat, and Emma had an ear infection in the middle of the month. At the end of the month, Emma is stuffy and coughing, Ella is just stuffy (thankfully not coughing at this time), Daddy is stuffy and has a sore throat, and I think I'm starting to get a sinus infection.
