Sunday, April 17, 2016. Vintage Kitchen Stool Makeover! Last summer, I was gifted an old Costco kitchen step-stool by my father-in-law. I had been wanting one and it turns out, he had this one just sitting around in the basement! So it came to live at my house, with my grand idea of refinishing it. Just one more item for my hunny-do list :-). Here's the before (JULY of last year). Anyway, we estimate the total cost of the project to be about $30. Here's the result. Monday, March 28, 2016. So yesterday was Easter and, in the midst of all the stuff that goes on at church, I had an interesting conversation with a friend (Thanks, if you're reading! And it got me thinking so much I just had to write about it. And all I could think to say was "Yep! Suddenly, she wasn't smiling anymore. She said a little louder, and much less cheerfully, "He is Risen! So I said, "Amen? And then, with a furrow on her brow and actual anger in her voice, she scolded me, " He is Risen Indeed!
