Our Life, Our Adventures: August 2007
http://alearningwayoflife.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 28, 2007. More proof that I'm insane. I cut my hair. Drastically. And all by myself. I quite like it though. It kind of looks like I dyed it red in this photo. I may just go ahead and do that. In other news, we went camping. The spot was near Umpqua Lighthouse, in Winchester Bay. That's Oregon, for those of you not in the know. We camped on Lake Marie, a small lake about a mile around, and full of trout that evaded us the entire time. Didn't help. She just sat there smirking. Finally....

Our Life, Our Adventures: January 2008
http://alearningwayoflife.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 27, 2008. We woke up this morning and it was totally snowing. The snow continued pretty much all day! Here are some photos. I love this photo of Tania. She looks so pretty. Little Lu had so much fun. She cried when we had to go inside, but passed out for three hours afterward. I love this one of my girls' butts and hoods. Look at this chief, holding out strong all winter. This is right around when the tiredness kicked in. Tania figured out that a ladle is the ultimate snowball maker.

Our Life, Our Adventures: Talula's Summer Solstice Birthday Party
http://alearningwayoflife.blogspot.com/2008/06/talulas-summer-solstice-birthday-party.html
Sunday, June 22, 2008. Talula's Summer Solstice Birthday Party. Yesterday, we celebrated Talula's 2nd birthday. She was so happy to wear her pretty pink polka-dot party dress. We had her party at the new lodge that Joey helped to build. Here is her sun pinata that Tania, Tutu, and I made. Of course, I had to take some photos of the food I made. Cantaloupe-mint salad. Of course, at a Summer Solstice party, you have to serve mead, the drink of the gods. Tania gave it a few good whacks. Little Lu has a turn.

Our Life, Our Adventures: April 2008
http://alearningwayoflife.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 27, 2008. Imagine when she's a teenager. Monday, April 21, 2008. I got my hair did. Goodbye, sweet borderline mullet. Goodbye dark winter hair. Hello, awesome haircut and highlights that I love. I just want to stare at myself all day long. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Spring is here.for two days. So you think you can read while you're nursing me? I don't think so. Sisters in the sun. Sunny day wagon rides. Doesn't everyone hold a baby in a sling while they sit on the potty? I also used this site.

Our Life, Our Adventures: October 2007
http://alearningwayoflife.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 28, 2007. We've had no internets and a broken camera, and this makes Lu very upset. But we've been doing all the fun things that you do in Fall. We picked apples. It was just Lu and me, because picking apples is "boring" and "lame.". But they're also delicious. Since our neighbors have an apple orchard, we got to load up for free. See how greedy we were? I even filled the back pocket of that stroller. We made a friend on the way home, some apple beggar. Joey is the girl on the right.
