AB 2 X 2c. Saturday, June 8, 2013. Feeding Xander has always been a bit of a struggle for us. Especially since we started with solid foods. But, slowly over time Xander has been getting better. He's been trying new things, liking some, and repeat eating some of those too. Progress is really all we can ask for! We went back for seconds and thirds! Xander also likes Mama's veggie lasagna! He liked it so much that he fed it to himself from his own plate! Note the photo documentation! So simple, but SO good!

AB 2 X 2c. Thursday, March 27, 2014. March 27, 2014. Xander got to participate in a little farmers class this March. His first class taught him about goats, then pigs, bunnies and at the last class, horses. Xander didn't love the class all the way through each time, but we made the best of it. Dada took Xander to the classes and Mama was able to tag along for the last three classes. AB 2 X 2c. Monday, December 31, 2012. One year and 6 months into Xander's life, the kid has a bit of a vocabulary. As with most kids, you've gotta speak his language to know some of the words he knows, but it gets the job done. AB 2 X 2c. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. August 31st, 2013. Dada thought it would be fun to put Xander in the sweatshirt and see what happened. This shot reminds us of the blue towel shot, just a little. Xander looks a little drunk in this one, but he doesn't allow hoods to stay on for very long so we were lucky to get any photos at all. After a breakdown and a bit of crying, we got the sweatshirt off. Xander took it and, as per the usual, rolled it up into a bit of a pillow and lay on the floor with it.

AB 2 X 2c. Thursday, October 31, 2013. June 5th, 2013. On Xander's Second Birthday, Mama made him a peanut butter sandwich cake! Happy Birthday to YOU! Xander got a bunch of books this year. He loves to read with Mama and Dada and whoever else will read to him. Fast forward to September and October and he simply can't get enough books and book time during the day. They are some of his favorite toys! He loves the chopsticks and once Mama showed him how to pick up the sushi pieces, he tried to eat it.

AB 2 X 2c. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Dada celebrated his 31st birthday on August 13th. He took the day off for an extended weekend - which was probably the best part of his low key celebration, not having to go to work! Over the weekend we had gone to dinner to celebrate on one day and the other day we went to the Brown Bag Cafe in Kirkland for brunch. AB 2 X 2c. Friday, January 11, 2013. Xander got an animal sounds guitar for his Birthday last year, and he loved it. It was the toy he always took with him in the car for quite a few months.
