The panel comprised social policy graduate and community engagement officer, Imo Itoro, Wellcome Trust. And Bhim Virmani, from Valuing Older People.

Social isolation and loneliness in Greater Manchester can cause high levels of emotional distress. Without early support and intervention, this can cause people’s health to deteriorate and require intensive longer-term support. In May 2015, we hosted an event at Martin Harris Centre.
