Orchids,Nature and My Outdoor Life: January 2015
http://orchidcrossley.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Orchids,Nature and My Outdoor Life. Friday, 16 January 2015. Friday 16th January 2015. We've been going through a very unsettled windy changeable spell of weather so far this year up here in Lancashire but it hasn't been really cold with only the odd day of lying snow. So it's no surprise that the first of our garden's snowdrops have responded to this mild weather and have been at this stage for about a week. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Doves Stones from Hey Slack. The only thing appearing to be growing in this harsh environment is this Sedge Grass. Pendle Hill from the Dove Stones. Looking towards "Wuthering Heights" ( Emily Bronte fame).

Orchids,Nature and My Outdoor Life: Bluebells still in flower
http://orchidcrossley.blogspot.com/2015/06/bluebells-still-in-flower.html
Orchids,Nature and My Outdoor Life. Monday, 15 June 2015. Bluebells still in flower. Sunday 14th June 2015. We also noticed that the Water Aven and yellow Wood Aven ( herb bennet) growing together in woods in this picture, they had cross pollinated to produce a yellow Water Aven. They've cross pollinated in my own garden so I don't think it's very uncommon. 15 June 2015 at 19:42. Nice photos David, Sadler Hill looks a nice place for walking. I hope you enjoyed your time away in the motor home.
