ABOUT MANNA FOOD PROJECT. As a Partner Distribution Organization with Feeding America West Michigan. Manna is able to purchase a variety of food and non-food items at low prices. A semi-truck delivery each week re-stocks the warehouse shelves at Manna. This involves up to 32,000 pounds of food each week. Partner agencies then shop Manna's Food Bank to meet the needs in their community. These agencies include food pantries. Soup kitchens, and community meal sites. From someone we helped. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The Manna Food Project was organized in 1987. Manna is comprised of a food bank, food pantry and other supporting programs. Help rescue usable food from local businesses and deliver it back to Manna or a Partner Agency. Our vehicles are used for this but we require a valid driver's license. Our mission is to provide a hot, home cooked, well-balanced meal to the homeless and the hungry. Since July of 1999 we’ve come together three times a month on the 1st, 2nd,and 4th Saturdays at the Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry Building at 2100 Lakeside Avenue. See our meal count here.
