Tuesday, April 28, 2009. In our terrariums we have planted barley, corn, radish, peas, and clover. So far the corn, clover, radish and barley has grown very well. The peas haven't grown very well, they have just sprouted. In our terrariums we have isopods. Before we put the isopods in the terrariums, we made runways and tested what types of things they liked best. Some examples are light vs. dark, warm vs. cold, apple vs. carrot, and wet soil vs. dry soil. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, April 2, 2009. At 5th grade camp. This is a picture of me when I was at camp. I was the hopper which meant that I would have to get something when someone wanted it. After the meal I would have to clean the table and get rid of all the extra food and drinks. I am scraping macaroni and cheese into a bowl with carrots, celery, bread and cheese. It was really gross to look at! April 3, 2009 at 12:20 PM. Good Job. I agree with the sleeping part. April 4, 2009 at 7:13 AM. How was being the hopper?

Monday, May 18, 2009. We also tested environmental factors. An environmental factor is something in the environment that affects something like animals or plants. We had tested water tolerance or how much water the plants need. We found that if you keep the environment dry, the plants will not grow, but if you put in 40-80 mL. Of water in it will grow really well. We had also put animals in our terrarium. We put isopods. In our terrarium. Isopods. Like to have wet soil and be in the dark.
