Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Long, long ago, B.C., I decided I did not want to teach my kids that Santa is real. He is not the reason we celebrate Christmas and our culture has over glorified him. I don't mind my kids learning about the origins of Santa and what he represents, but I never had a desire to allow them to believe he truly exists. Until the other day. In trying to figure out whether or not Jason and I will allow our kids to believe in Santa. We have come to the conclusion that we would rather our children not believe Santa is real.
