Saturday, October 8, 2011. Audio Script - Radio Story. A rubbish bin caught fire at the Coogee Bay Hotel Sunday, as hundreds of patrons gathered to celebrate the City to Surf fun run. Cries of fire were heard from the Beer Garden, and staff members rushed to control the flames. Mariah Gillespie has more. NATURAL SOUND GLASSES AND PLATES CLINKING). It was a beautiful day in Coogee, and runners relaxed in the sun with cold beers and sizzling steaks after the 14-kilometre trek from Hyde Park to Bondi.
