A new writer's blog. Archive for April, 2010. Character Driven vs. Plot Driven. You always hear about character driven vs. plot driven stories, but there isn’t really one solid definition of what that means. There are several definitions out there, but they all describe via example and are often based on how you “feel” about the story. I would like to suggest my definition, one that uses something concrete to come to a conclusion, instead of how it “feels.”. The story, and how the story was written.

I don't know how to explain everything that's happened in the last 3 months. Most of you know already, so I guess I'm just going to skip over most of it.
