Sunday, January 22, 2012. All good things in all good time. Lots to share since our last update. Mariel has come a long way in a short time. We had our second round of post operative x-rays last Friday, January 13 and they revealed a 4.1 cm gain of new bone cells (2.5 cm = 1 inch)! Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night. Mostly because of anxiety, but also because I was so afraid I would oversleep! Things have just been a little 'extra' this past week. Love to you all. Thursday, January 12, 2012.

We have a check up at the clinic tomorrow and will see Dr. Paley to discuss the second surgery Mariel will soon need. He went to the State Fair of Texas and enjoyed the food, the animal farm, the car show but was not crazy about the rides! We managed to get him on one ride! Marissa and Ethan test drove every car in the lot! We had a play date with our PFFD buddies! We can't believe how fast they are growing! We went to dinner for our favorite places and walked on the pier! It's beautiful and hot in WPB in July! We visited our PT friends and told them how much we missed them! Idag flyttade ett vandrande blad, Phyllium celebicum till det lilla akvariet som vi gjort om till ett terrarium. Den var hungrig när den kom till sitt nya hem. Vi får gå till skogen och hämta lite "möbler" till bladets hem. Vi får även passa på att samla eklöv och björnbärslöv att frysa in till vintern som kommer så att bladet har mat. 54-liters akvariet är numera ett sällskapsakvarium.
