The Times of My Life. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Ships That Pass in the Night. Then when the class moved to the new high school in the fall of 1967, he was gone. I never knew exactly where he was, but discovered he had graduated at Lee High in Huntsville. He found me after 45 years from when he was my first love. He came to my house to visit and we haven't stopped talking since. When he appeared in my doorway all I could think was "My Lord, the hurt deep in his eyes is a look I see in my mirror every day".

The Times of My Life. Friday, November 25, 2011. So I'm sitting here, after watching LSU decimate Arkansas, wondering where this leaves the Tide. I saw Alabama lose their share in Legion Field, so that Bama luck thing is a fallacy. You may not like it but no matter how strong the rivalry. Alabama will continue to be the favorite; tradition demands it. I've cheered for Auburn and all SEC teams, but tomorrow is the day allegiance counts. And mine lies with the Crimson Tide. Win or lose, my Tide.
